Nice service for 8 in the popular Grand Baroque sterling pattern by Wallace. The set consists of 8 7.5" forks, 8 6.5 inch slad or dessert forks, 8 6" soup spoons, 8 flat handled butter spreaders, 8 6.25" teaspoons, 8 hollow handled knives of 9" length, 1 hollow handled master butter spreader, 2 8.75 inch serving spoons 1 8 inch cold meat fork, and 1 sugar shell. Counting the hollow handled knives as an ounce each the set weighs 77.4 troy ounces. The set is generally in good condition and just needs to be lightly polished.
This item was acquired from a high end luxury retail store with an expected confirmation price of $3,600.00. Due to an urgent need to liquidate, the confirmation price has been removed and will be sold to the highest bidder. The retail sale price of such an item would be much higher than the auction value.
