This painting is in excellent condition and has only been shown in a gallery.  Federico López Córcoles was born in the Alicante region of Spain in 1970. This area is well-known for its artistic tradition, producing world renowned skilled artists. He studied drawing and painting at the Escuela Permanente de Adultos (EPA) San Carlos from 1995 to 2001 in Ontinyent, a Valencian community in Spain. At this time, he also got involved in working in  the Association of Art 92 in Bocairent, another Valencian municipality, as well as in the Association “Font d’Art” in Ontinyent. By participating in these associations, López was able to exhibit his works to a broader audience in multiple group exhibitions  from 1995 to 2012 around the Valencia region. Also, the exposure to many painters in the Valencian area through these associations and exhibitions allowed him to experiment with his style and developed his artistic vision into what we see today. López utilizes bold brushstrokes and a bright color palette in order to convey the dimensionality and tonality of his subject. It is the variant of bright colors, not hues or tones, that add depth to his works. Color and the linework of his brushstrokes work together to form an image, composed with decisiveness and accuracy. He continues to work on his art and exhibit in Spain today. Artist Federico Lopez Title Gucci Bag

This item is in excellent condition, only shown in a gallery. This painting is part of the artist's new series that she describes as Realism framed in Pop Aesthetic.  Utilizing the bold colors and lines of advertising and marketing as the backdrop, she positions her female figures as oblivious to the world around them.  She describes her work as in many ways, a love letter to city life and her female figures as a mirror image to daily life.  Artistically, in this new series, she is inspired by the tensions between the lines that create the composition and the emotive connotations of each form:  wavy (softness, freedom, harmony ...), horizontal (peace, rest, calm).  Through these works she can challenge herself through the various technical as well as psychological questions that arise when combining different forms of art, the underlying questions that remain when working in realism, abstraction, as well as pop. Griselda Ferrandez was born in the city of Barcelona, a cosmopolitan and open city. From her balcony she could contemplate the sea as well as watch the passing freight trains on their way to the mercantile port.  At a young age, Griselda was bedridden from heart disease that left her with only books and her balcony view to pass the time.  She remembers looking through books of painters and loved the way paintings transported her to a world of fantasy through color and line.   This early impression led her to want to become a painter herself.  From 1972 to 1975 she studied at the Massana Official School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona, considered at that time an avant-garde art school. At the age of 18, she began to work in the painting studio where Spanish hyperrealist artist Jesus Navarro served as the artistic director.  They later fell in love, married, and had 3 children.  She proudly describes each child as gifted in the arts as well.       Since her first exhibition in 1978, Ferrendez has not stopped painting or experimenting with paint.  For a time, she even taught classes on Art Theory at the Tres en Raya school in Castelldefels, Barcelona. She has worked with pastels, acrylic, marble dust, oil, organic matter, collage, but throughout her experimentations, oil paint has always been her favorite, a material she describes as the “noblest and the most multifaceted.” Artist Griselda Ferrandez Title Reading is my First Love

Inspired by nature, Noah has an impressionistic style that borders the edge of abstraction.  He creates landscapes and florals with bold colors and a sense of movement that draw you deep into the work. His energetic compositions are rendered with vibrant color, vitality, and spontaneity. Noah’s textured canvases are created by layering pigments with both palette knife and brush, resulting in exciting landscapes, rich in depth and vibrancy.   Desmond captures the spirit and mystery of his surroundings within his loose brushstrokes by connecting the artist and viewer to a world within.  Using oil paint he makes each work evoke beauty and personality.  Finding inspiration in real life situations, his final result is a collage of thoughts and reality.  Noah applies layers of lines, forms and colors only knowing the work is complete when the many broken colors reveals his desired result.

Collectible offset lithograph on paper with mat from the portfolio "Guernica: The Preliminary Studies on Paper", published by Salerno Editrice, Rome in 1990. This work is from the limited edition of 999, and are early representations of his concepts for his famous Guernica painting. "The sketches in the portfolio are like a seismograph of his thoughts and feelings, and so they permit us to understand what he really wanted to paint in Guernica. A study of these sketches reveals the progress of the artist at work - his hesitations, his searching, the choices he made. They show the slow formation of the images, the maturation of the initial idea, the successive contributions, the departures; in short, Picasso's way of working, and, as such, they constitute the laboratory of Guernica." This painting is in excellent condition and has only been shown in a gallery setting.  Born in 1971 in Seoul, Korea, Emily Cho, whose Korean name is Yunshee Cho, attended an art high school where she learned various forms of visual art making. Initially she created art just as a hobby, but quickly developed a strong passion for art while learning the ability to capture beautiful scenery onto a canvas by painting. A hallmark of her style is to paint with intricate details and natural colors to strengthen her artwork. During her artistic training, she was primarily inspired by the colors and emotions of 18th century European landscape painters. She firmly believes that the true expression of art resides in nature, and meticulously arranges her paintings to convey delicate differences of color and composition within each landscape. In Cho’s paintings, the beauty of life and art converge in a remarkable way. Artist Emily Cho Title Buttercup Surprise
