This work is from the suite ‘Picasso's Sketchbook,’ limited to edition of 250, and is dated in the plate. The suite was released as an exact facsimile of a sketchbook in which Picasso worked from November 1, 1955, to January 14, 1956. The covers of the book were of the same cardboard from Picasso’s sketchbook, with the spiralbound and thickness of the pages also matching the original sketchbook.
