This painting is in excellent condition and has only been shown in a gallery setting. Ivana Mlinar has loved art and the process of creating art since she was a child.  Inspired by her desire to learn more about the skill of painting, Ivana spent years studying Italian Renaissance art in Florence, Venice, Padua, Pisa and Verona from the years of 1975 – 1979.  Upon completing this early training she studied at the University of Split in Croatia where in 1984 she earned a Masters in print-making and the history of Medieval Arts.  In 1986, just years out of school Ivana became a member of Croatian Association of Fine Artists and since than participated in a number of juried art exhibitions. Ivana currently lives off the coast of Florida with her husband Frane Mlinar, an accomplished artist himself.  Her current work is inspired by her love of nature.  Whether at the beach or in the mountains, these destinations inspire feelings of happiness and pleasure. Her colorful figures strolling with loved ones, walking dogs, flying kites, or enjoying a number of other recreational activities aims to encourage viewers to pause and delight in the beauty of everyday life.

Inspired by nature, Noah Desmond has an impressionistic style that borders the edge of abstraction.  He creates landscapes and florals with bold colors and a sense of movement that draw you deep into the work. His energetic compositions are rendered with vibrant color, vitality, and spontaneity. Noah’s textured canvases are created by layering pigments with both palette knife and brush, resulting in exciting landscapes, rich in depth and vibrancy.   Desmond captures the spirit and mystery of his surroundings within his loose brushstrokes by connecting the artist and viewer to a world within.  Using oil paint he makes each work evoke beauty and personality.  Finding inspiration in real life situations, his final result is a collage of thoughts and reality.  Noah applies layers of lines, forms and colors only knowing the work is complete when the many broken colors reveals his desired result.

This painting is in excellent condition and has only been shown in gallery setting. The second of four children, Marcel Demagny was born in October, 1949. He graduated from the Nancy, France, School of Architecture in 1974, formerly known as the National School of Fine Arts. After receiving his diploma, Demagny became chief architect of the French city, Nancy, in which he still resides today. “I have always been fond of musical analogies and would say that as an architect I am a conductor, and as a painter, I am a soloist.”-Demagny It was during his years in school that he explored an interest in painting. He worked with graphic designers, painters and the plastic arts. Color and matter have always played a major role in Demagny’s style. Many artists have influenced the manner in which he paints today, such as a very talented artist by the name of Nicolas de Stael who painted abstract art. He dealt with sharp angles and the absence of hue. Demagny’s work is obviously inspired with his sharp cut edges of petals and their monochromatic background. Another artist that greatly influenced Demagny was Bernard Buffet, a graphic designer. While he used a different medium, his work represented the idea “less is more.” Buffet put his feelings into an ordinary object. Demagny wants this in his paintings. He lets his emotions guide him along the canvas. “I have reached my current style, which is now well established, working by layering colors with the palette knife and spatula. This is the culmination of 37 years of passion and practice.” -Demagny Presently he devotes more time to painting as architecture can not express his creativity any longer. His favorite subjects include, landscapes, floral arrangements, music and automobile racing. He loves these subjects, but chooses to not confine himself to one in particular. The color and style of Demagny’s paintings are truly an expression of himself.

Artist Description: Model dancer: Kristina Tavarovskaya In this metaphysical scenario, the painter wanted to capture a true story of heartbreak or, better said, of love not understood. The mannequin in love is plucking the daisy with the final wish that the last petal will change his luck. However, the protagonist does not show any interest in her suitor who some time before came to tattoo the name of her platonic love on her left arm. She, with a mischievous look and the thought of the true love of her dreams, lets her imagination run wild towards her ideal world. Antonio Torres is an artist from Alicante, Spain. Balletomane, defined as a ballet enthusiast, aptly describes Torres’ devotion to dance. Throughout his evolution as a painter, he has dedicated himself to one recurring theme: ballet. Dancers from all over the world showcase graceful poses and elegant costumes in each captivating painting. Fascinated with ballerinas’ patterns of movement and psychological dedication, Torres skillfully captures their mastery of performance by depicting their varied demeanors both on and off the stage. While Torres portrays notable dancers from all over the world, his work is categorized into three distinct series and each inspired by a different ballerina. The Contrasts series provide striking distinctions between light and shade frequently placed in intimate settings. Blue Dream paintings convey the beauty of ballet through various expressionistic techniques, while the Blue Rainbow series incorporates surrealism to depict dreamlike performances. Through this diversity, Torres captures the multifaceted aspects of ballet and its dedicated performers. Torres personalizes private moments, and this exclusive access to intimate views offstage are a hallmark of his work. Aware of the rare circumstances accessed to him via his friendships with numerous ballerinas, Torres graciously remarks, “I thank God for having the opportunity to be surrounded by so many talents behind the scenes.” Though visually divergent, Contrasts, Blue Dream, and Blue Rainbow unite in inviting viewers behind the scenes to share his intimate point of view.

This painting is in excellent condition and has only been shown in galleries.  This painting is gallery wrapped and finished on the edges so it can be hung without a frame.  Lorenzo’s work combines color inspiration from the impressionists and stylistics of pop like David Hockney into each painting to create something interesting and design forward.   Artist Statement:  Since childhood, about 5-6 years old, I have always felt the strange need to draw and paint. Drawing shapes with one simple pencil and then filling them with colors attracted me like a magnet, like that magical music that you don't want to stop to listening to. At the beginning it was a mixture of different feelings, some good and others as a way of escape and to ward off my ills. I know now art is a kind of therapy too. With the passage of time I have been understanding, as mother nature was becoming the main protagonist of my work, that there is nothing better than transmitting the love I feel for this nature (reflected in my family and in music too) that helps me so much. That is why I think that my painting is an attempt to explain this love that I feel for them, which is no different than love for life, for all living beings. And I think I'm getting it through the game of simple shapes and vivid colors. What you see it isn´t a “real” nature, it´s what I call a “dreamed landscape”,  that is not an exact copy of a specific place or a photograph, but it is more the feeling that nature (walking its landscapes with my family at weekends or holidays, studying another painters´ artworks, seeing photos at magazines, or surfing by the net, etc) or music transmits me, that I represent in the canvas in a symbolic way.

Manuel Lorente is a contemporary artist from Valencia, Spain. Since a young child Lorente describes being mesmerized and drawn to art.  He fondly recalls that his family took him to many exhibitions throughout Spain and Europe and these memories fostered his passion for art and led him to decide to pursue a career as a professional artist. He studied at the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Trades in Valencia where his technical painting and drawing skills were more fully developed.  Lorente describes the port and beaches close to his home as a major inspiration and the model from which he loves to paint.  He states, “the sunrise, the light at sunset in spring and autumn by the ocean are moments that especially attract me.”  In addition, he describes artists like Carmen Laffón and Pinazo as other art inspirations.  Lorente’s tranquil beaches and port paintings utilize color, texture, and light to create a sensory experience for the viewer.  In each of his works he tries to not only create a beautiful visual experience for the viewer, but also aims to conjure the sensations of being transported to these destinations.  He states, “I try to recreate the environment or sensation that the motif produces in me at the moment of capturing it.” Lorente hopes that viewers experience a similar sensation, a calling from the ocean and nature.
