1934 Maryland Tercentenary Bronze Medal. Portrays the governor Albert Ritchie and the reverse with John Carroll Indians and the boat they landed with. Good uncirculated condition with a nice shimmery patina. Medallic Art minted.

100 WWII Steel Cents. They substituted steel for a year as the copper was in short supply and desperately needed for the war effort. They must have had a hard time striking them so the resumed the next year. Frequently seen in museum displays alongside ration books and war bond posters. From a small lot. Nice looking examples with no pasty white ones. Very little rust. Lots are weighed and not checked for mint marks may not be in each lot. Stock photos.

1848 Braided Hair Large Cent, certified by PCGS as Fine-12 Brown (F-12 BN). This classic mid-19th-century copper issue features the mature portrait of Liberty with braided hair, designed by Christian Gobrecht. Encapsulated and authenticated by PCGS, ensuring confidence in grade and authenticity. In Fine-12 condition, the coin shows moderate, even wear consistent with circulation, while retaining clear major design elements. Liberty’s portrait remains well outlined, with visible hair detail, and the reverse wreath is bold and complete. The surfaces exhibit a pleasing, natural brown patina typical of original copper, with no distracting issues for the grade. The 1848 issue represents a later date in the Braided Hair series (1839–1857), a popular and accessible type among early American copper collectors.
