This figurine depicts a woman in a hunched position drinking from a bowl. She wears a gown that drapes and contours to her body and fuses with the base by her bare feet. Her hair is pulled back behind her ears, revealing the details of her face. Her eyes are downcast allowing her to focus on her task. She is apparently famished and uses her other hand to brace the bowl so that the contents do not fall. This Bronze sculpture cast using the lost wax method and mounted on a marble base.
