They present deep midnight blue resting colors and a strong mix of opaque and translucent bodies, with the translucent pieces showing a deep cobalt blue when held to the light. And there are 14 pieces weighing approximately 1.30 carats each, so there are plenty of them to go around. These sapphire are beautifully matched measuring about 6mm x 4.9mm each, are well cut, and professionally polished resulting in superior lusters that sparkle off of each facet. Sourced from Madagascar. Naturally heated only!!!
