Collectors get ready! It’s a 1ct Grossular-Andradite Garnet!
Make some room in your collection, we have a rare grossular-andradite garnet! Although these gems are known by collectors, they have only been found in commercial quantities in Mali, South Africa. But this gem of a gem was sourced from Madagascar, and the small deposit it was sourced from makes it unique in a world of scarce gems. These garnets have a composition that fall between both grossular and andradite garnets, and this example exhibits a gorgeous red amber hue with glittering flashing through pristine VS clarity. It has fantastic symmetry, and measures 4.81mm x 4.72mm x 4.04mm. Untreated!!!
Gems come with a complimentary gem jar for display and protection, size permitting. All treatments are disclosed*, and all weights and sizes are approximate. Listed gemstones are greatly magnified, and minor details that present themselves in the photo may not be visible with the naked eye. There may be slight color differences due to individual monitor settings and capabilities. *Except for topaz. As irradiation is the standard treatment for this gem type, they should be assumed to be as such, unless stated otherwise in the description.
