The flashing of this semi-black opal just doesn?t stop. It has large panel flashing that presents itself in a well defined honey comb pattern. The colors of this opal are incredible. The red flashing is bold, moving from fluorescent red in high light to stop light red in low light, and the greens shimmer like fish scales, shifting into yellows and oranges. Measuring 12.2mm x 11.7mm x 4.8mm, this gem has fantastic size, and it is covered with a glistening liquid luster. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia. Unheated.
