Extremely rare! 1.63ct color change Alexandrite set!
Here we have 50 stunning examples of some of the rarest gemstones in the world, Russian Alexandrite! Each piece features a resting light hunter green color that glows through a smoky body with a superior luster, but that all changes when the lighting changes. You can see any variation of green, steely gray, or touches of blue in normal lighting, and they turn vivid pink under UV lighting! They feature well matched round cuts measuring 1.5mm to 2mm each, and with a Moh's hardness of 8.5 they are durable enough to be set for daily wear. Untreated! Gems come with a complimentary gem jar for display and protection, size permitting. All treatments are disclosed*, and all weights and sizes are approximate. Listed gemstones are greatly magnified, and minor details that present themselves in the photo may not be visible with the naked eye. There may be slight color differences due to individual monitor settings and capabilities. *Except for topaz. As irradiation is the standard treatment for this gem type, they should be assumed to be as such, unless stated otherwise in the description.
