This is a gorgeous specimen of natural sapphire. The color palette of this piece is rich, presenting a deep hunter green hue held under a superior luster with pops of yellow green flashing. It is beautifully cut, and measures 8mm x 6mm x 4mm making it a prime choice for setting, and has a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10 making it strong enough for daily wear. This example was heated only, with no dyes or fillers, just pure sapphire.
