A fully handmade Japanese katana made of high carbon steel and underwent traditional forging techniques including heat tempering, quenching, and grinding, producing a truly functional blade. The full tang blade measures approximately 27.75 inches, with an overall sword length of 40.5 inches and a handle length of 10.5 inches. The handle is wrapped in blue cotton for grip and comfort. Clay tempering methods, historically used by Japanese swordsmiths since the Kamakura period (around the 12th century), help provide both durability and flexibility.
