Extremely rare 2.54ct color shifting Tanzanian Sapphire
The color palette of this gem starts rich and smokey, and you will see a beautiful grayish pink hue, but even then, you can see touches of different colors in its flashing. The color then shifts with the light to show nuances of blue and lavender, with some lighting even giving the appearance of a smoky rose de franc amethyst in color. It was cut from pure untreated Tanzanian sapphire, and is all natural. Weighing just over 2 1/2 carats and measuring 8.6mm x 6.7mm x 4.8mm, not only does it have unique color, but fantastic size. And with a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10, this very unique sapphire is as durable as it is beautiful, and an excellent choice for everyday wear, or adding to any private or professional collection.
