Extremely RARE hand carved LAOS BUDDHA STATUE

An exquisite Antique LAOS BUDDHA. Hand carved in the provincial style of the Hill Tribe people of LAOS.  This very large artifact is believed to be approximately 100-150 years old.  Buddha is depicted in the meditation mudra gesture. Some remains of the original red and black lacquer base and  some remains of original gold gilding. Approximately Measurements: 13"x 4.5" x 4" Weight: approximately 6 pounds
