This is a beautiful etching, after Rembrandt, by master engraver Amand Durand. Titled “SELF PORTRAIT WITH RAISED SABRE” (year of original 1634). Signed and dated in the plate. This piece is in excellent condition, and has never been framed. Measurements: image size is 5″ x 4″ on 13″ x 10″ Somerset paper. Ref. # 18 according to the British Catalogue, circa 1797, is a hand pulled-ETCHING from the AUTHENTIC & Original copper Rembrandt plates by Armand-Durand (1831-1905) overseen by Art World Industries, inc.
