Beautiful Old World Spanish House
Antonio Huerta Blanco began to paint at the age of fifteen. At the age of nineteen he began his formal training in art. Due to his talent of drawing he was inspired and encouraged to begin training. During his education and training he studied under the Spanish museum manager, Mr. Vincente Penalber, and the Spanish painters Mr. Casanova, and Mr. Matorell.
Huerta began painting professionally when he completed his school training in 1973. Since this time he has exhibited in galleries, including Galeria Alonso, Valencia in 1977, Galeria Alonso, Valencia in 1983, Galerie Vandevoorde, Paris, France in 1994, Galerie Soria, Chareauroux, France in 1995, and Galeria Hispaluz, Concepcion, Chile in 1996.
Awards received by Huerta include Prize Oje, Paterna, Valencia in 1968, First Prize of the Open Air, Paterna, Valencia in 1970, Second Prize in Painting, Burjasot, Valencia in 1972, First Prize, 7th Salon Pintura, Valencia in 1981, and Mecion De Honor, Chililla, Valencia in 1982.
The Town Halls in Paterna, Valencia, Xativa, Valencia and Burjasot, Valencia display the work of Huerta. The works on Antonio Huerta Blanco are in private collections throughout Japan, Saudi Arabia, Jakarta Babrain, Holland, and the United States. A list of Huerta collectors includes a Saudi Arabian Prince, along with other important aristocrats and business people throughout the world.
