This fish has plenty of space to swim with an incredibly sized piece of limestone measuring 120.5mm x 91.4mm x 7.9mm. Lycoptera are considered to be a defining member of a prehistoric ecosystem famous for its feathered dinosaurs, which flourished for 20 million years during the Early Cretaceous period. Most of these minnow-like fish fed on plankton, and had numerous tiny teeth. This unique fossil displays a loving pair with well-defined features preserved on limestone. Display stand included!
