This is a beautiful etching, after Rembrandt, by master engraver Amand Durand. Titled “THE GOOD SAMARITAN” (year of original 1633). Etching image size is 10″ x 8.5″. Paper with Border measures 18″ x 14″. On Somerset paper. Reference #90 according to the British Catalogue, circa 1797, is a hand pulled-ETCHING from the AUTHENTIC & Original copper Rembrandt plates by Armand-Durand (1831-1905) overseen by Art World Industries, inc. This etching bears an Amand Durand embossed blind stamp chopmark. This subject is in excellent condition, and has never been framed. This item is guaranteed as described.
