This is a beautiful etching, after Rembrandt, by master engraver Amand Durand. Titled “Christ Presented to the People: the Oblong Plate” (year of original 1655). Measurements: image size is 16″ x 18″. With border measures 22″ x 25″. On Somerset paper. Reference #76 according to the British Catalogue, circa 1797, is a hand pulled-ETCHING from the AUTHENTIC & Original copper Rembrandt plates by Armand-Durand (1831-1905) overseen by Art World Industries, inc. This etching bears an Amand Durand embossed blind stamp chopmark. This subject is in excellent condition, and has never been framed. This item is guaranteed as described.
