This is a beautiful etching, after Rembrandt, by master engraver Amand Durand. Titled “The Raising of Lazarus: the larger plate” (year of original 1630). Etching image size is 14.5″ x 10″. Paper with Border measures 22″ x 17.5″. On Somerset paper. Ref. #73 according to the British Catalogue, circa 1797, is a hand pulled-ETCHING from the AUTHENTIC & Original copper Rembrandt plates by Armand-Durand (1831-1905) overseen by Art World Industries, inc. This etching bears an Amand Durand embossed blind stamp chopmark. This subject is in excellent condition, and has never been framed. This item is guaranteed as described.
