This is a beautiful etching, after Rembrandt, by master engraver Amand Durand. Titled “Seated Naked Woman” aka “Woman Bathing her feet at a Brook” (year of original 1658).
Measurements: Image size is 6.5″ x 3.25″ With border measures 14″ x 9.5″. On Somerset paper. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Ref. #200 according to the British Catalogue, circa 1797, is a hand pulled-ETCHING from the AUTHENTIC & Original copper Rembrandt plates by Armand-Durand (1831-1905) overseen by Art World Industries, inc.
This etching bears an Amand Durand embossed blind stamp chopmark.
This subject is in excellent condition, and has never been framed. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
