The collection pays homage to a watercolor and gouache design for a Four Seasons stained-glass window in The Met collection, a collaboration between Agnes F Northrop (American, 1857-1953) and her mentor, Louis C Tiffany (American, 1848-1933). A designer of Tiffany Studios windows for over two decades, Northrop had a special skill for depicting vibrant, naturalistic flowers. This necklace evokes the way this flower dangles gracefully off its vine.
