Authentic handmade silk and wool Persian Tabriz Mahi (Fish) rug. Size 8.1x11.7, made of veryfine quality baby lamb's wool and pure silk pile on cotton foundatio n, all natural vegetable dye, a nice and rich warm toned color palette was used in creating this magnificent rug. Beautifully incorporating the extremely popular Tabriz Mahi (fish) design, with a nice multi tiered dual headed teardrop centerpiece medallion, finely done crowned corners and intricate floral trim. A truly captivating rug that would look great as the centerpiece in any room. Handwoven by a master Persian carpet weaver in Tabriz, Iran.
