Napoleon I of France (1769-1821) was a military and political leader of France, as well as the Emperor of the French. His actions shaped European politics in the early 19th century and made him one of the most famous and infamous names in history. One of his famous conquest the crossing of the Alps through the Great St. Bernard Pass in May 1800. Napoleon was determined to return to Italy to retake seized territory from the Austrians. In 1800 he led the Reserve Army across the Alps. This is a bust sculpture. He wears his iconic hat and uniform. This brown patina sculpture was cast using the Lost Wax Method and mounted on a marble base. Dimensions: Height 8 X Width 4 inches. Weight: 5 LBS.
