The turtle trio can be imagined clambering up each other’s backs trying to get to the best spot on a fallen tree to sun-bathe. The larger of the turtles situated in the middle tries to look behind him at a small turtle climbing his hard shell. Animal symbolism of the turtle is order, creation, patience, strength, stability, longevity, innocence, endurance, and protection. The bronze sculpture was captured using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. Condition: This sculpture is in perfect condition.
