An absolutely mesmerizing semi antique Persian Mashhad rug. Size 12.2x9.6 feet, made of fine quality baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye. This beautiful rug employs a fascinating Shah Abbasi floral pattern on a rich red background. Please also notice the highly stylized and large centerpiece medallion, with matching crowned corners that are truly captivating to the eye, framed beautifully by an intricately done dark floral border. Hand woven in Mashhad, Iran. The approximate year of origin: 1975-1985
