This is such a unique piece! It exhibits a sea green hue accented with rich satuation and beautiful natural internal characteristics. Honestly, it resembles an aquamarine more than a sapphire, and that’s something you don't see everyday. It has a shallow cut, giving it a much larger surface area for the weight, and making it perfect for pendant setting. It measures 11mm x 9.2mm x 4mm, and has a shimmering superior luster. This uncommon example was sourced from Madagascar, and was heated only.
