It has a rich red hue with a strong violet undertone held through a semi-translucent body that allows light to pass through it, but ensures there is no deviation in its color palette. It has a glistening superior luster, and is untreated. This is the color of the rough ruby crystal that was taken from the earth before faceting. It measures an impressive 12.7mm x 8.6mm x 5.8mm, and has a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10 making it durable enough for generations to come. Sourced from Mozambique. Absolutely no enhancements.
