$ 5 Merchants Bank Of S Carolina Cherow Sept 12 1857 Note. SC 310-25. Rich black ink and bold facing note. Good hand inked signatures etc.  Neat little train vignette lower right.  Small spot by will  and 2 small ink burns  looks like the same ink.  Some creases show but not terribly distracting. No tears. Nice showy note from a small collection of obsoletes
