Wow! What a great set of accent gems. The bright greenish yellow hues really pop, giving them a vibrancy that is not common in most gemstones, but that’s not the best part of this set. These gems exhibit rainbow flashing, meaning that the have pops of orange, red and green in their flash palette. Sphenes are one of the only gemstones besides diamonds that have this refractive quality. They are all matched in cut and color, measuring 3.5mm each with approximate VS clarity. They have a Mohs hardness rating of 5.5, and are untreated. Sourced from Russia.
