Antique 30 piece German Wolff W90 Rostfrei silver-plate flatware set for 6, in a wooden case. It includes: 6 table spoons, 6 knives, 6 dinner forks, 6 teaspoons, and 6 oyster forks. Most of the pieces are marked "Wolff W90" and the knives are marked "Rostfrei" on one side, and have the "90" punch-mark on the other side. According to the numerical marks on German silver-plate, the number 90 means that the pieces of this set were plated in baths of 90 grams of fine silver, what became a standard in Germany, in the middle of the 19th century. Most of the pieces show some tarnish, but the whole set is in great condition for its age. The wooden chest is in sturdy condition, with some scratches on the exterior, and the inside shows some wear. Case approximate size in inches: 17.25x11.5x3.5.
