Amazing composition.He did two images of this scene at different times of the day.There are multiple strikings of the plate .One strike for each color.If they do not register properly the prints get tossed. About 40 percent of these get pitched. He is the absolute master of the medium.He uses sandpaper on the plate to draw you in.  He did them for about 60 years.Unexamined out of the frame but does not appear to be laid down.Nice early impression with a tight signature.
