You won't want to miss this extremely fine example of high gem grade scapolite. It has a rich burnished gold hue with bright saturation, but what really makes this gem amazing is its flashing. Scapolite isnt known for brilliant flashing except in very rare cases, but the precision cut and superbly polished luster combined with the crystal quality of this piece creates an explosion of crisp and vividly colorful flashing. It measures an impressive 20.6mm x 20.2mm x 11.4mm, and is untreated.

Gem grade scapolite is extremely rare, and is coveted by gem and mineral collectors, and a must have for your private or professional collection. Yellow scapolite is only found in five places around the world to date, with richer varieties coming from regions in Africa, while lighter varieties come from Brazil.
