This abstract bronze sculpture uses a visual language of form and lines developing a composition that exists with a degree of independence. It emanates the mother and child bond as the mother cradles her child in her arm reciting a story from an open book in her lap. The sculpture was cast using the thousand-year-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for the conservancy and it is mounted upon a marble base.
