Badminton appeared as a demonstration sport at the Games of the XX Olympiad in Munich, in 1972. It joined the Olympic program at the Games of the XXV Olympiad in Barcelona in 1992, with singles and doubles events for men and women. A mixed doubles event was added at the 1996 Games in Atlanta. This would make a great gift for the Badminton lover in your life. This brown patina sculpture was cast using the Lost Wax Method and mounted on a marble base.
