The American buffalo, also known as the bison, is a large animal once known to be dangerous to men after the brown bear. Now, they usually take on a lazy, peaceful attitude although there have been occasions when they have taken to aggression. Here, our American buffalo is a beautiful tribute to this wild beast that is known to be large and sometimes brazen. It is made of 100% bronze and cast through the "Lost Wax Method." The piece is Barye and bears the seal from the European Bronze Finery. Condition: This sculpture is in perfect condition.
