This sapphire features a mirror luster with a floating star pattern that follows the gems movement. It has a silky black to gold hue with full saturation, and an opaque body that amplifies this natural effect. It measures an impressive 13.5mm x 10.2mm x 7.1mm, and has a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10, making it perfect for jewelry. Sourced from Thailand.
