This is an eye catching jelly opal. It shows a continuous multi-color tiny block pattern that moves through greens and yellows that mix with rich cobalts creating gorgeous teal accents. And in certain lighting, you can observe a floating honeycomb pattern. It features a round cabochon cut with a glistening liquid luster, and it has a body is so transparent that you can read through it! (You really can. It acts like a miniature magnifying glass. It's pretty cool if we do say so ourselves.) And since opals have less density than other gems, your 3.72 carats equals an impressive 11mm wide and 5.8mm deep. Sourced from Ethiopia. Untreated!
