It has great size for this gem type measuring 9mm x 6.3mm x 3.8mm and weighing a whopping 1.67 carats! This is important because only 10 percent of the gem grade tsavorite mined in the world are above 1 carat, with only 2.5 percent being over 2 carats. And this tsavorite displays very interesting internal characteristic while remaining fully translucent, and features a well defined classic pear cut. And it's untreated! Sourced from Tanzania.
