Oh my! It's a 1.46ct multi-color Sapphire with deep color!
Have you ever seen a sapphire like this? It has a black resting color with red edges, but that's just the start of its color! Why you ask? Because when you hold it to the light, you can see that hidden in this sapphire is a gorgeous combination of red, violet and blue swirling around under its glistening superior luster! It's crazy! And how did this sapphire get so many colors? Magic. That's what we're going with. But actually, it's science. This sapphire was beryllium heated to accentuate its natural color palette. And even though beryllium can be found in untreated sapphires, emeralds, and aquamarines, this piece had it introduced during the heating process. Since beryllium has very small ions, it penetrates deep into the crystal structure, giving you permanent color stability. See? Magic! This means that your multi-color sapphire will always be a multi-color sapphire since its bonded at the crystal level. And don't forget about its classic ovel cut and superior luster! Measuring 7.5mm x 6mm x 3.6mm with a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10, its perfect for daily wear now, and for generations to come. Sourced from Madagascar.
