What a piece! Don't let the pictures fool you, this peridot is filled with glittering flashing from both its top and bottom facets. Unlike traditional emerald cuts that have barrel faceting that moves from side to side, this piece features vertical faceting moving up and down that results in a starburst pattern flashing into its body, and when added to its traditionally cut emerald top, you have an over lap of glittering flashing to go with its starburst pattern. And the whole display is held under a superior luster that that is so well polished that it casts light shadows through its body adding definition to its flash palette. Wow! Not to mention its vibrant green hue and amazing symmetry. This highly unique peridot measures 7.6mm x 6.6mm x 5.8mm, and is all natural with no treatments. Sourced from Sapat Gali, Pakistan.
