Glittering 5.01ct VS grade real Bolivian Ametrine -Untreated!
Ametrines are interesting gemstones. They are a mix of amethyst and citrine which happens when the crystal is exposed to extreme heat during formation, turning the violet amethyst a golden hue. The ametrine itself is found in bands of crystals around the edges of this unique geological heating between the citrine and amethyst. This gem exhibits a ravishing mix of color that dances and sparkles through pristine VS clarity with preferred medium saturation. The sharp multi-color flashing of this ametrine glitters in violets and golds, accented by its superior luster. Measuring 13.2mm x 11.3mm x 6.5mm it is perfect for setting, and with a Mohs hardness rating of 7 out of 10, it is as durable as it is beautiful. Sourced from Bolivia. Untreated!
Gems come with a complimentary gem jar for display and protection, size permitting. All treatments are disclosed*, and all weights and sizes are approximate.
