With its greenish black color, you would think that that was the end of its color story, but no! When you hold it to the light, you can see that it is actually mossy green set against blue green. Talk about some strong saturation! And having strong smoky clarity and a high polished superior luster doesn't hurt either. And when worn in bright lighting, the color shows smooth gradience, moving from dark to light from one side of the gem to the other resembling a well blended painting.
