Magnificent 2.48ct full body flashing Semi Black Opal

The color of this opal is in constant movement, smoldering and flashing through its body in a vibrant display of block and chaff patterns. Electric greens, indigos and teals dominate this opal accented by pops of gold with a fiery intensity that can even be seen in very low lighting. Its rich black hue amplifies these colors, and you can easily observe its play of color from arms length. This all natural opal measures 11.8mm x 9.9mm x 4.4mm, and is unheated. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia.
