Presented here is a piece with a unique color palette that usually brings highly sought after topaz to mind. You have a rich smoky hue with with glittering champagne and red amber flashing. But unlike topaz, zircon has a diamond grade luster, so on top of everything else you also have a luster that casts shadows through the gem, creating rolling waves of deepened color. So we have glittering flashing, a luster that not only sparkles across every facets but also casts shadows through its body, and now we add to that pristine VS clarity so that everything comes through in crystal clarity. What's not to love? AND it has fantastic weight coming in at 2.38 carats and measures 9.8mm x 6.3mm x 3.5mm. Oh, and did we already mention that it is untreated? Because its untreated. Sourced from Tanzania, this zircon should be a no brainer.
