Rare! Untreated! Actual faceted Pakistan Ruby!!!
Ladies and gentlemen, get ready for a rare treat indeed. It's time to add another location to your ruby bingo card! Presented here today is a gorgeous example brought to you from Pakistan! Rubies are like wine, their development depends on the region they are from, and what the earth is like where they grow. Now, rubies from Pakistan come from what are known as primary deposits. This means that the rubies are still imbedded in rock and strata, unlike secondary deposits which have already been been removed from the rock host naturally through weathering and natural erosion. This makes mining operations a lot more difficult, making these gorgeous gems a true rarity in the market. This natural ruby and exhibits a deep red body color with touches of pink and orange in its undertone that really make it stand out from other countries. This is a fully natural example with no treatments. It has great shape and luster, showing a classic oval cut and high shine luster, and measures 8mm x 5.5mm x 2.7mm. This is a must for any gem collector!
Gems come with a complimentary gem jar for display and protection, size permitting. All treatments are disclosed*, and all weights and sizes are approximate. Listed gemstones are greatly magnified, and minor details that present themselves in the photo may not be visible with the naked eye. There may be slight color differences due to individual monitor settings and capabilities. *Except for topaz. As irradiation is the standard treatment for this gem type, they should be assumed to be as such, unless stated otherwise in the description.
