Size 7.0x10.3 ft, made of fine quality lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, incorporating floral patterns on an abrash red background with a centeral unique characteristic of dual headed large medallion and finished off beautifully with a floral border. Made by Bakhtiari nomadic tribes of western Iran. Bakhtiari is an ancient southwestern Iranian tribe. Bakhtiaris were nomadic pastoralists and weaving rugs was and still is a unique way of expression and telling stories.

This gorgeous runner has a lustrous appearance due to the superior worsted wool, which also gives it a certain presence that is rare to come across in the market place.  Hand woven in Hosseinabad, Iran.
