The tight faceting, high refraction and superior luster of this piece are combined to create a dazzling high fire display that explodes through its vibrant whisper pink hue. It has great size, measuring 10.1mm x 8.6mm x 8.7mm, and a Mohs hardness rating of 6.5-7 out of 10, making it perfect for setting. Sometimes referred to as the midnight sapphire, kunzite is perfect for evening wear, but should not be worn or displayed in the sun. Sourced from Afghanistan. Unheated!
