The color of this opal is in constant movement, smoldering and flashing through its body in a multi-color display of small block, floral fire, and even a touch of chaff patterns. Electric reds, oranges, greens, cobalts and golds roll across its body with a rich black hue that amplifies its colors under a glistening liquid luster. And since opals have less density than other gems, it measures an impressive 11.3mm x 8.7mm x 5.2mm while only weighing 2.14 carats. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia. Smoked.
