The Works of Alfred Lord Tennyson that includes a hand-coloured bookplate belonging to Sybil Assheton-Smith (London). Leather bound with ribbed spine and gold gilding, all around gold gilded page edges, 901 pages, printed in Edinburgh. Clean interior, has a later gift inscription dated 1991. All pages intact, front cover is somewhat fragile, appears to have been reinforced, has paper split. Otherwise VG+ condition. 7-3/8" x 5-3/16".
